Hi, I’m Emily.
My story has been marked by intergenerational friendship—mentors, guides, friends—men and women who have generously poured out wisdom and love, who continue to graciously offer difficult questions and new ways of seeing, who brilliantly challenge me to integrate my heart, mind, body and spirit to live a whole-hearted life… all in order to invite others to do the same.
My resume consists of a Dartmouth education, 3 Division 1 Ivy League soccer championships, 15 years as the owner of Jamieson Coaching, 17 years alongside my husband in full time ministry as we tend to a small frat house (we are raising 4 young men), certifications in Working Genius, SYMBIS facilitation, and Identity Coaching with IdentityExchange, and a pending Masters degree in Leadership and Biblical Theology.
While rattling off this list may seem impressive, my real offering comes from failures not found on a resume. From enduring grief and heartache. From celebrating joy and victory in countless relationships over years in ministry and business, marriage and family. From dark nights and deep reflection. From countless daily decisions made far from the spotlight of the world that have forged my identity. It is these things, mingled with an insatiable thirst for learning and an inexplainable desire to give away everything I have been given that place me before you as a trusted speaker, coach and friend.
There is a cost to character. And that cost has not yet come to completion. Make no mistake. I have not arrived. And this is why I run hard on the same journey you find yourself in—for the hope set before me…
My hope is for a generation to know that they are created on purpose and for a purpose. To know the Voice of the One who is our hope and our purpose. To know that wisdom mined in relationship is more valuable than information found on the internet. And to know that they are more loved than they could fathom.
I have such hope for the future. For YOU. For us.
Welcome to the Collaboratory.
